Helen Fox
Artistic Director, Founder
Helen is a working-class actor, writer, theatre producer. She has written 7 plays, and 14 pieces of work in total, from straight plays to site specific and musical comedies. When doing any of these she enjoys dramaturgy, design, art and music. She loves tackling challenging issues in an approachable way and thinks theatre, but all of the creative arts are great tools for communication and change.
Outside of Fox and Hound, Helen has worked with Buskers Theatre on a play called "Lot 52" by Vivien Jones. She has also worked on the radio play "Bronagh and the Bum Goblin" by Aine King, and "Chop, Dissolve, Burn" by Lissette Auton and Richard Boggie at Alphabetti Theatre, Newcastle.
Recently Helen has been creating her first musical "Glen of Echoes, a Culloden Story" with Codge and 2 new associates to the company and touring with Fox and Hound with a Trio of Tennessee Williams, hoping to bring it to new audiences soon.
She is currently touring Because We Said We Would, you can find dates for that on
this site.
There will be more to come soon about her plays and creative work, so, look out for
that.
